MISL State Meet
Prior to the fall of 1974 non-public schools were not allowed to participate in MSHSL Meets. From 1947 to 1968 the members of the Minnesota Independent School League (MISL) competed in their own state meet. Beginning in 1969 the final "State Meet" for the MISL schools was a combined affair with the other private schools and the Catholic schools in a Private State Meet. The members of the MISL continued their MISL Meet for a few years as a regional qualifying meet for the Private State.
